Clyde Hill Elementary PTA is a non-profit organization that supports every student and staff member at the school. This support is made possible with donations made to the PTA Annual Fund.  Our PTA is 100% funded by YOU!


The PTA has two annual fundraisers to support our Annual Fund:

  • Raise the Paw:  A direct donation campaign and our biggest fundraising event that takes place in late October. 
     

  • Walk-A-Thon: A fun event held each spring where we promote healthy activity for our students while FUNdraising for our school.
     

Why should donate to the PTA Annual Fund?

Unfortunately, there is a gap in State and District funding for essential educational programs and classroom support for teachers. It is left to our engaged parent community to cover the shortfalls in funding. Your Clyde Hill PTA spearheads this effort to raise funds required to provide enhanced, well-rounded education for our children.

The PTA spends $500 per student to provide these programs.

 

Please help support our children, teachers and school community.  Without donations the PTA cannot continue to enrich every student’s educational experience and donations of any amount helps us reach our goal! The donation of time is also vital for a successful PTA. Please consider volunteering!

Clyde Hill PTA plans and organizes a wide variety of events and programs that benefit all students and parents of our school. The PTA Annual Fund pays for all of these programs thanks to the generous donations by families and friends of Clyde Hill Elementary through two main fundraisers: Raise the Paw (Fall) and Walk-A-Thon (Spring).

 

The annual fundraising goals are to be able to fund:

  • Additional staff hours for our GSAs (General School Assistants); 

  • Curriculum enhancement software programs; 

  • Provide on campus and off site curriculum extension experiences for each grade level; and, 

  • Community building social events for all of our students and families.

  To reach this goal, we are asking for 100% family participation in Annual Fund giving. We need YOUR support.

 

Why an Annual Fund?

Contributions to the Annual Fund directly pay for your child’s GSAs, science and technology programs, cultural and fine arts, community events, and many other vital learning experiences and opportunities that our District and State do not fund.

How much should I give?

Please give to the best of your ability! The money to cover the cost of all enrichment programs, community events,  and our amazing support staff amounts to over $180,000 per year. We ask that all families who are financially able to donate $500 per student they have enrolled at Clyde Hill Elementary. Gifts larger or smaller than our $500 ask per student are always accepted and appreciated, and directly support your child’s educational experience at Clyde Hill.

 

When do I give, and how?

You can donate at ANY TIME! Complete the donation form and return it to school with a check payable to “Clyde Hill PTA.” Donation forms and checks can be dropped at the School Office or mailed to:

Annual Fall Fundraising Event:

Our Annual Fund kicks off each year with the Raise the Paw in October. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! 

 

Annual Spring Fundraising Event:

In the Spring we have a very fun Walk-A-Thon! All of the information, including local business sponsors and volunteer opportunities, can be found on our Walk-A-Thon page.

 

What happens if we don’t reach our goal?

Failure to meet our fundraising goal will result in tough cuts to programs and services that benefit all our children.

 

How do matching gifts work?

If your employer matches donations made to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, your donation could be doubled, or even tripled! Please submit your matching gift request online through your corporate intranet.

*Microsoft employees can request a match through https://aka.ms/give. Add your student’s name in the “Comments for Cause” field when completing the matching form.”
