Clyde Hill Elementary PTA
The Reflections Program is a National PTA arts program for students from pre-K through grade 12. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works of art in response to a theme.
Students, please submit you original artwork (by December 1st) that expresses your ideas about "I am hopeful because"! It will be displayed during our Student Art Gallery and Community Dessert Reception, December 7th, 6:00pm-7:30pm! Invite your friends and family to support your art and expression!

FECHAS IMPORTANTES
Las fechas de entrega son2 de diciembre(escanear y enviar por correo electrónico aKate Scher); y5 de diciembre(envíos físicos). Los estudiantes o los padres pueden dejar el trabajo de arte físico en Reflections Box en la oficina principal. Asegúrese de que la obra de arte esté correctamente etiquetada con el nombre de su estudiante, el grado, el maestro, el título de la obra de arte y la descripción en la parte posterior.
Muestra de Arte 8 de diciembre, 6p - 7:30p.El espectáculo de arte Clyde Hill Reflections estará en el gimnasio de la escuela el jueves 8 de diciembre de 6:00 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. Las obras de arte de los ganadores avanzarán al nivel del Consejo de Bellevue y tendrán la oportunidad de avanzar al nivel estatal y nacional. Celebraremos las obras de arte de todos los participantes con una muestra de arte en línea.
CATEGORIAS
Se alienta a los estudiantes de prejardín de infantes a grado 12 a enviar obras de arte originales en una o más de las siguientes categorías (Clyde Hill está reduciendo las presentaciones de categoría este año):

Literatura: obras de ficción, no ficción, poesía, prosa, teatro, cuentos y letras.

Composición Musical – composición musical original, con o sin letra.

Fotografía – color o blanco y negro, técnicas incluidas: fotograma, sándwich negativo y exposición múltiple.

Artes visuales: dibujo, pintura al temple, óleo, acrílico, acuarela y pinturas para camisetas, arte generado por computadora, collage bidimensional, grabado, costura y herramientas de cuero.
División de artistas especiales: los estudiantes con discapacidades pueden recibir adaptaciones especiales al ingresar a la división de artistas especiales y se les anima a ingresar a cualquier categoría.
COMO PARTICIPAR
Participar es tan fácil como 1-2-3:

Cree su obra de arte: asegúrese de que su arte siga las reglas

En 100 palabras o menos, escribe sobre cómo tu obra de arte se relaciona con el tema de este año, "¡Muestra tu voz!"

Envío:
1. Escanee su trabajo y envíelo por correo electrónico a Reflections@clydehillpta.org
2. Envíe su trabajo con el formulario de registro completo a su maestra de arte, la Sra. Berg.
Formulario de ingreso del estudiante
Categories
Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 students are encouraged to submit original works of art in one or more of the following categories (Clyde Hill is reducing the category submissions this year):

Literature – works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prose, drama, short stories and lyrics.

Musical Composition – original musical composition, with or without words.
-
Photography – color or black and white, included techniques: photogram, negative sandwich, and multiple exposure.

Visual Arts – drawing, painting in tempera, oil, acrylic, watercolor & t-shirt paints, computer generated art, two-dimensional collage, printmaking, needlework & leather tooling.
Special Artist Division: Students with disabilities may receive special accommodations by entering the special artist division and are encouraged to enter any category.
Participation is organized by student age and grade levels. Student works are critiqued against others in the same grade division. This allows recognition and judging of artworks by appropriate developmental age and skill levels. The grade divisions are:

Primary: Pre-school – Grade 2

Intermediate: Grades 3 – 5
Entries are judged on creative ability and interpretation of the theme.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Participating is as easy as 1-2-3:

Create your work of art - make sure your art follows the rules

In 100 words or less, write about how your artwork relates to this year's theme, "I am Hopeful Because..."

Complete the registration form.

Scan your work and email it to Reflections@clydehillpta.org

Submit your physical artwork work with the completed registration form to the front Desk at Clyde Hill Elementary or your Art Teacher.
